Round1's current Nara branch occupies the fifth floor of the Mi-Nara shopping centre west of the historic core. It is useful when rain, heat or a family group calls for a flexible indoor stop rather than another temple. Bowling, karaoke, arcade games and Spo-cha have different prices and age rules, so choose an activity before buying a package. The prefecture's English directory still gives an older Omiyacho address; that is not the location to navigate to today.
Pick the right type of play
The operator's current branch lists bowling, karaoke, an amusement arcade and Spo-cha, its time-limited multi-activity zone. The chain's current store inventory lists 28 bowling lanes and 22 karaoke rooms, but capacity and availability can change with events. Spo-cha's family facilities include a children's corner and mini bowling; the branch advertises a seasonal outdoor water slide only for children aged ten or younger. Do not plan a trip around that summer feature without checking the current operating notice.
Price the activity, shoes and time together
There is no single all-building admission. Bowling, karaoke and Spo-cha each have a separate store tariff with weekday, weekend, start-time, age and membership variations. The current bowling price page lists rental shoes at ¥440 and requires socks; the main game or package charge is additional. Karaoke has a one-order-per-person rule, with listed choices beginning at ¥440, even when visitors bring their own food or drink. Spo-cha offers time-based plans, and special holiday periods can change the applicable price. Open the branch's live tariff for your chosen date before budgeting.
Late opening does not remove youth limits
The operator's July 2026 hours notice lists 10:00 until 06:00 the next morning Monday–Thursday, continuous opening from 10:00 Friday through Saturday, and Sunday or holiday operation until 06:00 the following morning. Specific machines or activities can close earlier. At this branch, visitors under 16 cannot enter the amusement area after 18:00 unless accompanied by a guardian, in which case use may continue only until 22:00. Those 16–17 cannot enter it after 22:00, and the prefectural youth rule bars everyone under 18 from entry between 23:00 and 04:00 even with a guardian. Carry age ID if relevant.
Use today's transport, not an old shuttle notice
The operator estimates a 13-minute walk from Kintetsu Shin-Omiya. Mi-Nara's current access page instead suggests local Nara Kotsu buses from Shin-Omiya, Kintetsu Nara or JR Nara to Miyaato-teien, beside the mall; services and fares should be checked with the bus operator. Mi-Nara ended its free station shuttle on 30 September 2026, although an older paragraph on Round1's own page still advertises it. Do not wait for that shuttle. The branch says parking is free with Round1 use, while the mall publishes its own validation terms; confirm the current exit procedure at the counter.
Reserve and photograph with the correct permissions
The branch links a live booking and congestion page for activities that accept reservations; a walk-in game is not necessarily a reserved lane or room. The operator allows personal photos under its published privacy and safety rules, including avoiding identifiable bystanders. It separately requires a prior online application for corporate or monetised filming. A MyNara site photo is not covered by a visitor's personal-photo permission, so this guide uses no interior or game imagery until a separate licence is obtained.
