Join a temple copying practice by the Yoshino River, with a separate admission fee.

Eisan-ji invites visitors to copy a Buddhist text one character at a time or trace the outline of a sacred image. The practice is a way to slow down and pay attention at an active temple, not a guaranteed English-language lesson or a tour of its normally closed octagonal hall. The operator links its reservation button to Jalan; check an actual date there or contact the temple before planning the journey from JR Gojo.
Joining this activity
Book through the operator's Jalan link or ask the temple to confirm a session. Live dates, capacity, duration and English guidance are not stated on the page reviewed.
